In my last post, A report from the online course ‘Kinship – an exploration into being together’ I mentioned Hannah Close and her visionary work in devising and writing the course.

Now she has a new project. She’s crowdfunding for a documentary film exploring ‘islandness’, ecology, identity and belonging in times of collapse. Knowing Hannah’s other work, I believe it will be inspiring, insightful and provocative.

Hannah writes:

I’m making an environmentally focused documentary about islands, in particular the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, and I need your support to help amplify the message of this beautiful place and its inhabitants. We’ll be exploring themes around meaning, place, identity, community and belonging within the context of ecological collapse and the Anthropocene.

Find out more and support her if you can. Here’s the crowdfunder and here’s the webpage. Thank you!
