Dr Vanessa Champion set up the Journal of Biophilic Design to help bring nature closer to people and help us reconnect to our living world.

We first spoke in 2020 and this year she invited me back to discuss the impact of Covid-19 on our relationship with nature. We talked about the ways in which technobiophilia became part of many peoples’ lives during lockdown as we connected with the natural world through our TVs, phones, computers, video games and virtual reality. I hope you enjoy our conversation!

The journal website contains a wealth of resources and is well worth exploring. It includes a free Image Library of nature photographs which you are invited to download for your personal use.

  1. Was fabulous to interview you again, Sue! Your research and expression of how we can all use technology to embrace more nature into our lives is inspiring. I have my own “desk garden” which you advocate too now. Thank you for sharing your time and expertise. x
